BIRTHDAYS...
First it was Cade's birthday. He was so excited because it was finally "his turn" to have a birthday party. It was a lot of fun and the weather held out for about an hour and a half until it ended the party with a huge dust storm that had all the kids crying. Luckily we got all the birthday stuff done!
We borrowed a bouncy house for the kids
Cade loved it
Opening presents
Cade in the hot seat
All the kids wanted to help
More helping
His Lightning McQueen Cake (don't look too close- I frosted it 20 min before the party started so it's pretty sloppy)
He loved his party, presents, and everyone who came!!!
It was "my turn" next as Cade would say. I feel like I had a birthday month with San Francisco and then being spoiled by family and friends.

Some of my tennis friends took me to breakfast but we were sulking from having just lost a match that we didn't take a pic. But Paradise Bakery is our little spot that we love and is so yummy. If you're there for breakfast get a blueberry scone- to die for!
Birthday lunch at Cafe Rio!
Birthday dessert at Iceberg with some friends from my branch. We started at Cold Stone but the line was too long, so then we shopped, came back to Cold Stone and the line was even longer, so we ended up at Iceberg getting ice cream and also fries, burgers, corn dogs, etc...
Rob took me to dinner on my actual Birthday to California Pizza Kitchen- one of my favorites and then our best friends suprised me by coming over and bringing an ice cream cake! (I was already grubbed out by this time if you can tell)
I've haven't had a birthday cake in forever so I was very suprised. (Thanks Rob and Ange!)
My mom was here during all of this too so it was fun to have her and she helped watch my kids. Rob is pretty much glad that my birthday is over after Sunday when we get together with his family. But hey you're only 25 once and you just have to take it all in! :)
BBQ's...
We've been barbequeing a lot lately due to spurts of nice weather and the NBA playoffs being on. Unfortunately all our neighbor friends are Jazz fans and we're Laker fans so it was interesting when they went head to head. Rob showed up for the barbeque's but then would shun himself to our basement to watch the game in peace. :) (He's very serious about his Lakers)
Rob at the grill which is not often
Check out his new jeans I forced him to buy- him and jeans have been a battle but I won :)
The kiddies
Notice all the babies crammed on one blanket :)
One of our neighbors had the game projected onto the side of one of our buildings so everyone could watch outside. (minus Rob)
Our little neighborhood and branch is so fun!!
TENNIS (of course)...
So we've been playing tournaments for three weeks straight. Well I have and Rob has played with his brother Mike in two of them. I'm getting a little burned out which I didn't think was possible but it's so fun to watch Rob and Mike play again. They make a really good team together. In the middle of all our tournaments was the High school Boys State Tennis Tournament. Rob and Mike coach a lot of the Timpview boys individually and help their dad coach the Timpview team. The team won state and a lot of the boys won individually too! It was a lot of fun to be up their cheering and watching some good tennis.
